Here are some of the technology stories that caught our eye today:

Microsoft is launching an incentive program for security researchers who find bugs in some of the company’s current and beta software, or who develop defensive techniques for these new attacks.

Cisco is integrating Citrix’s NetScaler ADC hardware line with Cisco’s Unified Fabric Cloud Network Services offerings.

MapR’s Distribution for Apache Hadoop has been certified by the VMware Ready program to run on vSphere, allowing customers to easily deploy MapR on vSphere and receive support.

Mary Jo Foley runs down a list of Windows Server apps that are supported or not supported in the Azure cloud.

Citrix was named to CRN’s 2013 Virtualization 50 list. The list recognizes the vendors offering the most innovative solutions in the virtualization market.
