Here are some of the technology stories that caught our eye today:

Google is asking the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to allow the company to publish aggregate information on surveillance requests received from government agencies.

In a patch released yesterday, Oracle addressed 40 Java security issues and enabled online certificate revocation checking by default.

McAfee appointed Bill Rielly as new senior vice president for small and medium-sized business. Reilly comes to the company after leading the worldwide SMB segment for Apple’s Online Store.

Yesterday, Microsoft launched Dynamics GP 2013 and NAV 2013 ERP products for Windows Azure. The products are sold through worldwide Microsoft partners.
