Here are some of the technology stories that caught our eye today:

Edward Iacobucci, who co-founded Citrix in 1989 after working at IBM, died of pancreatic cancer Friday morning, Citrix announced.

Symantec has found the first fake antivirus app on Android. The app pretends to find a virus, and prevents the user from accessing their device unless they pay to remove the fake virus.

Testing on the HTTP 2.0 protocol is set to begin in August. Among the new features is multiplexing, which supports sending multiple requests at the same time.

Riverbed was named a Value Leader by the Enterprise Management Associates Radar report for Application-Aware Network Performance Management. Riverbed Performance Management had the highest score in total ANPM functionality.

Microsoft’s Windows Azure and Office 365 were certified with GxP compliance for life sciences and FDA-regulated industries that use the public cloud.
