Position: Cybersecurity Practice Director

Overview: This senior level position is dedicated to the development and growth of the cybersecurity business at Gotham. The Cybersecurity Practice Director will provide the vision and thought leadership to build on Gotham’s legacy of success and build a world-class cybersecurity practice. The Practice Director will lead customer engagement by working with the sales and technical teams to develop and present relevant solutions to C-level executives at Gotham’s clients and prospects.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all areas of cybersecurity management including cybersecurity controls architecture, incident preparedness and response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity event analytics and correlation. The position requires a strong leader who can readily articulate and negotiate the value of the solutions Gotham brings to market. The position requires in-depth cybersecurity experience and an ability to effectively scale and tailor cybersecurity services/solutions to a variety of use-cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the company's senior cybersecurity subject matter expert
  • Architect, propose, and present solutions for commercial cybersecurity programs
  • Author cybersecurity content in websites, proposals, and marketing materials
  • Lead the Gotham Cybersecurity Practice, facilitating cybersecurity knowledge sharing across the company  including best practices, lessons learned, emerging threats and technologies, and the latest cybersecurity requirements and guidance
  • Lead development and execution of strategic objectives and tasks driven by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and continuous improvement
  • Manage contract performance, integrated master schedules, project plans, budgets, deliverables, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure cybersecurity and privacy incidents are handled according to system and enterprise incident response plans, and provide stakeholder coordination and cybersecurity subject matter expertise to incident responders

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity issue management, techniques, and process integration preferably within a consulting services organization
  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity architecture and engineering of network, infrastructure, and cloud technology, preferably in multi-tenant environments
  • Must be well-versed in cybersecurity management including cybersecurity controls architecture, incident preparedness and response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity event analytics and correlation
  • Experience leading and advising clients on cybersecurity including risk, governance, technology, regulatory drivers, IT cybersecurity, and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and ITIL
  • Understanding of cybersecurity audit standards
  • Understanding and ability to articulate market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing a practice
