In a nearly year-long project, Gotham designed and deployed a global implementation of Citrix XenApp 6.5 and AppSense personalization software to replace an existing XenApp 5.0 environment.
Starting with a thorough assessment of the customer’s existing environment and requirements, Gotham’s team created Citrix and AppSense reference architectures. Upon customer approval, these were implemented as a proof-of-concept (PoC). 3,000 applications were profiled using AppDNA, and subsequently installed in a development environment for comprehensive testing.
Gotham managed the testing process, and upon completion, configured the production environment and migrated over 1,000 XenApp 5.0 servers to XenApp 6.5.
To transition the project to the customer, Gotham’s team produced comprehensive documentation, including as-built configuration documents and standard operating procedures, and conducted training sessions with the admin teams.
