A non-profit hospital located in the New York metropolitan area wanted to upgrade over 7,000 workstations from Windows XP. They wanted to replace a large number of the devices, and convert the rest to software thin clients. Gotham was asked to:
- Deploy numerous Wyse D10DP Thin Clients.
- Convert a number of Wyse Z90 Thin Clients to Wyse Z10 Thin Clients, which was a software change on the existing Wyse hardware.
- Convert the existing Windows XP PCs into thin clients using Stratodesk.
Because this work was performed at a hospital, the deployments/conversions had to take place during off hours, and minimal down time was essential. Gotham worked around schedules, performing the work outside of normal business hours.
