It’s been three weeks since New York State issued lockdown orders and four weeks since we enacted our work from home protocol in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope this note finds you all sheltering in place and that you and your families are safe.
What follows is a brief update on our current capabilities and procedures.
We are serving all of our clients remotely and are pleased to report no impact on our ability to fulfill client requirements and meet our service level agreements. Here is a specific breakdown by business unit.
Professional Services – We continue to build and scale work from home solutions. Many customers who were prepared to have only a portion of their staff work remotely are experiencing performance issues, which we are helping them to remediate. Our cyber team has also been busy, as unfortunately, many hackers are opportunistically using the chaos in the current environment to their benefit.
Product Fulfillment – Most suppliers are operating at this point, though some are experiencing minor delays in hardware shipments. Some are also offering free or discounted licenses during the crisis. If you have any questions regarding shipments or special offers, please contact your Account Manager.
Managed Services – We are currently onboarding several clients to meet their expanded needs during the crisis. Additional staff has been added to the NOC & SOC to support the added demand, and all SLAs are being met.
Staffing Services – We are filling temporary assignments as needed. There are some delays in the logistics regarding background checks, but many qualified candidates are available.
