Akamai Technologies acquired Soha, a privately funded company that specializes in enterprise secure access delivered as a service. With this acquisition, Akamai intends to enhance the firm’s strategy in securing, protecting, and accelerating enterprise applications and services through cloud technology.

Juniper Networks unveiled extensions to its software-defined security architecture that enable security policies to be enforced all the way down to specific network ports.
