I recently had a client who needed to keep their SMS 2003 environment up and running while they migrated to Windows 7 using SCCM 2012. When we tried to deploy Windows 7 to machines that were within the SMS boundary group, the PXE boot would fail with the following error: OSD Task Sequence error - XXXXX cannot be located on a distribution point.
